What is Prune & Plum? 

Prune & Plum is an online store specialized in cacti and succulents sold in unique indoor planters, which can be partly or entirely customized.

Order

What if I need to change or cancel my order? 

Please email us at hello@pruneandplum.com as soon as possible if you would like to cancel or change your order. Please make sure to include your order number in your request. We’ll do our best to catch it before it is sent!

However, please note that once an order has shipped we’re unable to cancel it.

Also, please make sure your shipping address is correct. Orders with invalid addresses may be returned to us and may delay delivery. If you entered the incorrect delivery address, please email us at hello@pruneandplum.com right away.

How can I check the status of my order?

Once your package has shipped, we’ll send you the tracking number in an email. You can click on "View your order" and then click on the tracking number to see the status of your delivery. It may take 24 hours for tracking updates to appear.

What is the best way to place a large order (like for an event or a collaboration)?

Can I get same day delivery?

At this time we are not offering same day delivery.

 

Payments

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged as soon as your order is accepted and processed.

What type of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards.

 

Shipping

Where do you ship?

We currently only ship within the Continental United States (excludes Hawaii and Alaska).

When can I expect my order?

The processing time primarily depends on when you place your order. Plants are shipped Monday through Friday, we do not ship orders on the weekend.

Most of our orders are shipped within 2 business days of purchase from our Brooklyn warehouse, pending availability and credit verification. Once your order is shipped, we estimate you will receive your order within 3-7 business days (depending on location).

How can I edit my shipping address?

If you entered an incorrect delivery address, please email us at hello@pruneandplum.com right away.

How do I order multiple plants with different shipping addresses?

If you are interested in purchasing multiple plants using different shipping addresses (e.g. one for you and one for your mommy), please place a separate order for each address.

What happens if my order is returned to Prune & Plum?

Prune & Plum is not liable for any packages lost by the Postal Service or packages that are marked as Delivered but not received by the customer. A claim can be filed for the item, however, if the claim is not approved by the carrier, products will not be replaced. If packages are returned to Prune & Plum, the re-send will be at the expense of the customer.

 

General Plant Delivery Questions

My order arrived damaged, what do I do?

Every plant is fragile and the shipping process is not always kind. Please inspect your package when you accept the delivery. Should your order arrive damaged, email a photo to hello@pruneandplum.com along with the order number within 48 hours of receiving the delivery. We’ll happily replace your order.

Why does my potted plant look different than the one on the site?

Plants are living, breathing things: naturally, no two plants are exactly alike. Although we make the best attempt to get you a plant that's as close to the pictures as possible, there will always be variations.

Can I get this plant as a gift for someone else?

So glad you asked! Sure! Our products make the BEST gifts! Just put in the recipient's address for shipping and write a note for them when checking out.

 

Environmentally-friendly products

Is your packaging eco-friendly ?

As there is no planet B and we really love this one, we are committed to minimizing our environmental impact as much as we can.  We ship everything 100% plastic free in a 100% recycled cardboard box with paper wrapping and paper tape. All of our shipping materials are 100% recyclable.

What about the metal can you use for the plant itself?

In addition to be made by a family-owned company (this is the third generation!), our lovely cans are made of 100% recycled material (steel and tin) and are 100% recyclable. Did you know that metals are the world's most recycled materials ? The metal of our cans can be recycled time and time again without loss of properties. 

 

Returns

We want to assure you that anyone can be a successful cactus owner. Cacti and succulents are low maintenance and on top of that, we provide you with detailed care instructions. We guarantee our plants for 20 days from receipt: if the plant dies during this period, we'll replace it free of charge! 

Due to most of our product sales being living, Prune & Plum does not accept returns or exchanges. However, if you have any issues with your product, please email us at hello@pruneandplum.com along with the order number within 48 hours and we will address these on a case-by-case basis.
